Sorry to keep it short.

ESTA SEMANA EN JARDIN!!!

Buenos dias!

This was a great, full week!

ADIOS HERMANA RAMIREZ!!!

On tuesday we had our mission leadership meeting. And wednesday we had an awesome training with all the sisters of Peru Lima South. It was great! Sister Esser and I had a workshop where we talked about self esteemn and the dangers of making comparisons. It was great, we made this paper perfect siter missionary and then had each group of sisters write what they though the perfect sister should be like. then we put the parts together. then we told them they had 3 mins to recreate that same sister missionary. The result was a little lopsided sister missionary, but the message was clear. it was great cause we were able to talk about why we sometimes compare ourselvwes to others and why its important to recognize our own unique talents and worth. Friday the area doctors came and reminded us many things that we should be obedient to if we want to stay healthy. Our mission is known for having one of the largest amounts of health problems in alll the missions in the world.haha. But it was great. this week was a little difficult in our area because of a few unpresidented problems, but neverthe less we worked hard and we know well see the fruits this week.

Yesterday was mothers day! WOOOOOO FELIZ DIA MAMI! It was great to see the good old crazzzzzy Mostert gang. love you all lots.

This week were going to the temple!HERMANA MOSTERT

SEMANA # 2 EN BARRIO JARDIN

Buenos dias!

LOS NIÑOS DEL BARRIO JARDIN DE PERU!!!

MAY I just say...MAY is upon us! Which means the weather made a crazy switch this week. There were days when the sun was burning down on us and then days where it was just foggy and cloudy all day. Lima just cant decide if I want to be winter or summer.

Anyways we have taken Elder Godoys invitation to spend 50% of our time visiting the less active members. We started by visiting leaders of the ward council and inviting them to bring list of MA to ward council. Also we had a ward actvitiy and made sure members invited their non member and less active member friends. We had a great turn out and we were able to find many new investigators and less active members to teach. We also had an amazing ward council. Our ward mission leader had this great idea last week to divide our ward boundaries into 4 zones and then have specific families be the zone leaders. Those zone leaders are in charge of locating less active families and inviting them to their homes. The zone leaders also are assigned to invite their non member friends to family home evenings and then to invite us to meet with them aswell. The ward council was very excited about this idea and immediatly it was put into action. Also in ward council we were able to recieve many names of less active members to meet with this week from each organization. I really do love this ward, and all the members have a great desire to share the gospel, retain the converts and rescue the less active members. It is a blessing to be serving here.

Heres a picture from our ward talent show. The primary kids did a traditional dance. Also the relief society danced like pioneers to cottoneyed joe. it was great!

JARDIN SEMANA 1

Buenos dias from Jardin!

MISIONEROS DE ZONA SAN JUAN !!!
HERMANA MOSTERT Y SU NUEVA COMPAÑERA
HERMANA MENA.
I realized this week where the name of our ward come from. There are so many parks in our tiny area! I started counting them one day and I lost track. But Im really liking it here, besides the weird fact that its across the street from my old area. The elders told me that Hna Milagros little son Santos yells MOSTERT at them and doesnt like them haha . Let me just say how much I already love JArdin, the members are great! They really have a strong desire to share the gospel and are really exicted to accompany us and introduce us to their friends. There are also alot of less active members so there is a great opportunity to apply E Godoys counsel to find through them.

SALUDOS DESDE???????

Buenos dias!

Greeting from San Juan. Except now from Jardin! Thats right the surprises just keep coming. I have been changed to Jardin, the small area next to my old area of Armonia. It was a bit sad at first because they closed our areas and elders are opening it. But in excited to work hard her, and train again. Im here finishing the training of Hna Mena, from Ecuador, Im also the Hermana Lider and were in Family History over 3 Zones aswell. Its alot of work, but Im excited for new experiences.

Besides the sad news saturday night that they were closing our area, this week was great in Armonia! Saturday was the best because....KARINA AND MARCOS GOT BAPTIZED!! Their baptismal service was the best, the members put together a really lovely program. They both shared their testimonies and the spirit was so strong. I love them both so much and its been a blessing to be here at the time of their conversion, and to have been able to see the gospel in their lives.

This week elder godoy came which was awesome! Hna McGinn (presidents wife) also put me to work during the conference by being her translator, it was fun. Anyways Elder Godoy continued to emphasize the importnace of being exactly obedient. He is great and really, really funny. iT was a great expereince being trainied by him.

Anyways, this week Hna Turley left which was sad because I know Ill miss her. But she taught me so much on how to set good goals and how be diligent. We worked hard this transfer and I know we were able to see miracles because of it.

Heres to the new opportunities in Jardin!

SEMANA DE ELECCIONES EN ARMONIA!!!

ALFAJORES PERUANOS!!
Buenos dias!

This week was great..and exhausting. To be completley honest I dont think I have worked so much before in my entire mission. We have 3 investigators who are working to be baptized this saturday. Its been alot of work getting their interviews in and making time to meet with them and trying to balance the rest of the work. Yet through diligent work, and what seems like the most diligent planning, we were able to make time for everything. I think that was the miracle this week. That we were able to make time for everything we need to do. And keep calm, we were able to keep pretty calm.

This week brings a new week of challenges...no, OPORTUNITIES! We have set new goals to work on something we have struggled with these past weeks, that has been finding new investigators to teach. Also continuing to plan in a way that will allow us to get done all the many things we have planned. lots of prayers would be highly appreciated for our 3 investigators too.

This week was also election week. This ment that Sunday there wasnt church because everyone legally had to go out and vote. There we a bunch of poiling areas in our area, with lines and lines of people that seemed never ending. We also could only proslyte until 7:30 and had to stay with the other hermanas because our room was right by a voting location. But nevertheless It was a good day becuase everyone had it off from work, so there were alot of people we could find and teach.

Im really looking forward this week, not just because of our baptisms but because Elder Godoy of the 70 is coming to speak to us on wednesday! wooooooo.

Anyways, perdon mama no tiengo fotos.

CONFERENCIA GENERAL EN ARMONIA!!!!!

LAS MISIONERAS DE ARMONIA!!!!
Greetings from Lima....the future site of another TEMPLE!!!!! WOOOOO

That was the big news this week. When President Monson announced it during the Sunday session, everyones jaws dropped and we were all (literally) jumping for joy and cheering (in a reverant manner of course). Its so exciting!! Another temple in lima. Now the talk is where it could possibly be, the members say most probably in the north.

Anyways this weekend was general conference. And we were bless to see all 4 sessions on saturday and sunday. I dont know where to start because I loved them all. Elder Hollands ending talk for the conference was especially powerful. I also like the 70 who talked about pride. And ofcourse president monsons talk on decisions, I know we all could feel the spirit and recieve personal revelation. I know I was able to recognize many necessary changes and recieve many answers.

This week we were able to see many miracles as many of our investigators were able to attend the conference and have been progressing. 3 of them are wokrking towards baptism this month and they are all great.

This week we also help move beds and a washing machine form the 4th building of the a home to the first. Yup muscles.

Anyways all is well here in Armonia. Just loving working hard! Its crazy how fast 10 months have gone by!
